Hi,
Welcome to the forum!
I will need more detail.
1. What types of tunes do you play in church specifically? What types of musical elements are needed to play the songs? Will there be improvisation? If so, over what types of chord progressions?
2. For the jam sessions, what style are the jam sessions? What is the general repertoire of the sessions that you would like to create or attend?
With specific details, I will be able to give you a solid direction.
Best,
Tim

I have a question, but first I want thank you for your advice for me as far as where should I start to develop in your online lessons. A fewmonths ago I applied for online berklee school of music bachelor online course. I am having trouble picking a tune for my audition. Do you have any song topics in mind that would show my ability? Or that are good for auditioning? Thanks

Sure, pick a piece that you know well. Something that you like and that you feel comfortable with. Play it either as a solo piece or with a backing track. It does not need to be a specific style, just something that you feel good about. Focus on timing, intonation and tone production. This is the best strategy for a Berklee audition.
Best,
Tim
