Hi Tim!

Can you do more lessons on composition? The two you have so far are great jumping off points, but I’d like you to talk more about the functions of each roman numeral in a diatonic situation and explain how keys are related (which keys tend to flow well with others, and which are drastic changes). Maybe relating it to Standard Tunes and then branching off into more contemporary ways of moving.

Also I’d love for you to post or explain more of your compositions from your three records as a leader. Particularly:

Passageway, TR, Paris, Arc, Thread, and/or Grey to Blue

I love your compositions and feel I could learn so much from studying how you notate each piece. Thanks for the compositions you have already posted. Much appreciated :)
